The New Traditions service begins at 9AM in the Wesley Family Life Center (building to the right of the sanctuary). Contemporary Christian music is played by the Forsyth Methodist praise band. Powerpoint presentations accompany the worship service.
At 11AM each Sunday we gather in the sanctuary to worship together at our Traditional Service. These thoughtfully designed services blend traditional hymn music, prayers and sermon. There is a special time for children.
- Sit where you like
- We are a varied group, and will be wearing anything from shorts or jeans and a T-shirt to "Sunday best", with a good number of people in the middle, wearing slacks and a nice shirt. Whomever you are and whatever you wear, you will be welcome.
- There is no public recognition of visitors
- Parking is available in the lot in front of the Wesley Life Center and on West Johnston Street. Additional parking is available at the post office and in the city lots next to the fellowship hall. Handicap spaces are available in church lot on the street.
- Children are welcome in our worship services. There is also childcare available all morning in the nursery, located in the Wesley Life Center.
- Coffee and breakfast are available during the early service
- You are welcome to try any and all of our Sunday School Classes
